When do other EU countries start helping us with this influx? Fair share and all that.
Insane, absolutely insane.
Wait, we had somewhere earmarked for a super prison? This is out of hand.
It’s close to the airport. Put a high speed processing centre there while they are at.
They were never going to build a prison there. The legal system is a cash cow for too many.
If we don’t have a super prison where are we going to but the riddler the next time we catch him?
It’s better than tents, no?
Petition to put them all in Dublin 4. Then it’ll all get sorted very quickly
That’s the job.
Ship them 10miles out of the city and stick em in tents out there.
I’m sure they’ll stay out there and DEFINITELY won’t make their way back in……..
Wash. Rinse. Repeat
No super prison? We’ll never be able to contain Bertie Ahern in a regular prison.
I’d rather they built the prison. We need one.
Another Super Max?
We have the same opt outs as Denmark under the Lisbon treaty
Why won’t we exercise our opt out? I don’t understand it
This has all the makings of turning into something incredibly fucked up if they’re not careful.
I mean if they’re not *actively* building a prison there, why not use the land until the asylum seekers are allowed to integrate or are sent somewhere else?
Better than it sitting empty.
Luckily Nolan is making the prison system redundant… /s
Let’s be realistic, they were never going to build the prison anyway. But the sight is close to the airport so it makes sense, if they actually decent to enforce the law and deport failed applicants it’ll be easy. But they shouldn’t be allowed to make their way back into the city. You have a right to claik asylum but you don’t have a right to crowd our streets because you didn’t get enough handouts
Aw, it’s going to be a super prison after all.
Make it an immigration detention centre/prison for any migrant that enters with no proof of identity or for illegal immigrants awaiting deportation. That way two birds have been killed with one stone since both needs have been met.

Are we just a refugee dumping ground now?
