JUST IN: President Laporta is incredibly angry with Xavi, who’s future at the club as of right now looks to be more ‘out’ than ‘in’. Total disappointment from the president’s side. @MigRico

  1. I just got to laugh at Bayern, and now we are worse, wtf is this board

  2. Barca board has become like a circus right now – drama here and there; everyone is going in their own direction

  3. Xavi is right in a way but still a massive blunder to say conflincting goals in the media

  4. we let bayern beat us 8-2 but we sure as hell aint letting them beat us at being drama queens!

  5. Bro wasn’t mad about going trophyless this season. But he is mad at him cuz of a statement about the clubs economic situation.

  6. They’re mad because he told the world he won’t have whom he wants so his expectations have to be tempered and justifiably so given our insecure financial situation and fair play shenanigans. This reflects on the board and they want to appear united in their bullshit and Xavi upset the cart.

  7. They can’t really get a good replacement now, can they?

Why is everything reaching the media?

  8. All of Xavi’s press conferences since his arrival have been shit, but if he ends up being fired by this one after the shit season we had, it would paint a very bad image of the current sporting project of this club.

  9. Laporta talks big because talking big keeps the votes and makes the club look like a better investment for potential sponsors who will then be willing to pay more. He doesn’t get the immediate blowback for bad results so he doesn’t care. He’s looking out for his interests.

Xavi knows that talking big creates big unrealistic expectations of both him and the players, which took a huge toll this season. So he talks small, reminds everyone that he can only work with what he’s given from above, and reduces the pressure on himself and the players. He’s also looking out for his interests.

    It’s all just politics.

Imo if the fans want success short and long term, we should be realistic and give the people on the field room to breathe and grow. Particularly because we clearly are not in any position to hire any clearly elite coach or sign any clearly elite players. 2nd in La Liga is a realistic expectation, CDR semis is a realistic expectation, CL QFs is a realistic expectation (I have no clue what the confusing ass format is next season).

Comparisons with Madrid, while understandable, are useless and only create unnecessary negativity. Carlo is one of the greatest managers of all time, Xavi is barely starting out. Imagine if Carlo went straight to Madrid instead of being able to cut his teeth in lower/midtable teams as a young manager. Madrid has a deeper squad, a more recent, better pedigree, is much more united politically and internally, and is in a much better place economically. They’re simply a cut above right now. Ebbs and flows happen. 2009-2012 they were a level below. They’ll be back.

  10. Thank you, Laporta. Please get this fraud Xavier out. You know a Barca manager is horrible when Madrid fans support him staying.

We need something new. Not this mediocrity for another season

  11. Dude doesn’t really care about dropping out of the ucl and losing out the laliga, rather he continues to have faith in Xavi but as soon as Xavi says the most obvious thing he wants him gone. WTF.

I just hope that this is just some media fluff even now, but if it isn’t then this club is finished with these clowns.

  12. Can we stop posting news from tier 2 levels for fl sake?

  13. Let’s hope they will sack him🤞🏻 otherwise next season will be a shit show again.

  14. Is Laporta really this braindead? Just look at how things went by in this fiasco:

    1) Xavi got fed up and said he’ll leave at the end of the season, and he was 100% sure every time he got asked

    2) After 3 months of this, Laporta convinces Xavi to stay which is a very questionable decision that puts Xavi on the frontline now for any failure

    3) Now, not even 3 weeks after the 180 turn, Xavi said with all his honesty a FACT about the economical situation and now Laporta is pissed and wants to fire him.

We are the clowns of Europe, and Laporta is leading us

  15. Daily reminder to people, a “news” with no source and from twitter has the same legitimacy as a fanfiction.

  16. I might be done participating in any internet discourse around this sport and just stick to watching the games on mute if this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back for this board.

They never cease with this clown show

  17. Laporta is a hypocrite and wants everyone in the. Club to support him even though he is not doing the same to them and he got deco to approve anything he wants not to do his job in a way that can benefit the club

  18. the audacity of xavi to run his mouth like that.

    AFUERAAA!!!!
