  1. Katie Dowd covers an event with a bearded Bluey:

*RSVPs on Facebook don’t usually amount to hard commitments, so Dirt Dog employees weren’t expecting the deluge that hit them at their South Rainbow Boulevard location on Saturday.*

*TV news stations showed lines out the door and a too-crowded interior that prompted worries about fire code violations.*

*“Bluey” is an animated children’s show, featuring the eponymous Australian cattle dog and her family experiencing the ups and downs of life. It [had] seemed like a good idea to put on a “Bluey”-themed event at Dirt Dog, a Las Vegas outpost of the LA hot dog chain.*

*She was not the lovable, furry dog [that] children expected. Instead, she was played by a Dirt Dog worker in a blue onesie with a hoodie pulled over his head.*

*As one disgruntled child put it to KVVU-TV, “He looked, like, unexpected. We could see his beard.”*

*The freebies soon ran out, and some children reportedly cried at the sight of bearded Bluey.*

*The comment section of the restaurant’s Facebook post is rife with complaints, although a few defenders point out that people shouldn’t expect so much at a free event.*

  2. Mcdonalds had a Easter bunny you could take photos with, and my 6 year old said something about how he wasn’t the real Easter bunny he was a human.

I said, “What makes you think that?? Thinking he’d overheard something I didn’t and he turned round and said “I can see his neck.”

He still believes in him though so 🤷 can’t have done much harm
