colorful lanyards why was K dama making a joke about colorful lanyards in pmqs today so I was good to see the minister for common sense immediately take up that mantle by announcing a vital Crackdown on the gravest of threats colorful lanyards well the conservative government’s Common Sense Minister actually banned multicolored lanyards from the Civil Service this week as part of a new series of measures for a Tory War on woke working in the civil service is all about leaving your political views at the building entrance trying to introduce them by the back door via lanyards should not happen while the minister did not specifically mention rainbow lanyards that’s the preferred colorway used to those supporting LGBT plus issues and that has annoyed many Tory MPS and become symbolic of in their words leftwing bias in the Civil Service

  1. Is a lanyard with swastikas on just a lanyard with lines?

Symbols express political views and it is right to ban them all in the civil service as a matter of principle. It appears Starmer doesn't do principles though.

  2. The only disadvantage here is if you happen to be talking to a staffer that you don't know, you can pick up on their bias without a single word.

  3. I say keep them so i can immediately see which people to actively avoid and discount literally anything they say or do.

  4. I say keep them, that way i can immediately see who to actively avoid and discount literally anyting they say or do.

  5. You will own nothing and be happy. You will think nothing, and be silent.
You will say nothing, and be grateful. You will be Woke, but asleep.

  6. Rainbow lanyards are just another indicator of which ideological cult someone belongs to. A great way to know who to avoid, but also monumentally effective at bringing companies, healthcare, emergency services, and, yes, the civil service into disrepute.

I'm gay. Your rainbow and alphabet cult is toxic to people like me.
