Is it worth the risk to run on? or is this just a PR statement to cover themselves?

  1. Just don’t run on if we win. It wastes everyone’s time. It’s not like they reopen the bars which they absolutely should.

  2. they say it every year and every year everyone runs on the pitch. i think they get fined for it from the officials so they probably want to show they’re trying to avoid it, but it looks good so i doubt they actually care and it’s not like fines matter

  3. dont be a dick and cause club problems for your own self satisfaction. .

    please, stay classy.

  4. mixed feelings. Totally disagree it’s disrespectful, it’s a part of the game. A lot of classic keyboard warriors trying to apply internet morality in this thread. I was on the pitch a couple years ago and after a match like that I’d do it again.

Same time, pitch invasion should really be reserved for events like that. Loads of people are planning this regardless of the result and there’s just something about it I don’t like. That said, if you’re there they won’t do a thing, they’ll wait for everyone to get back in the stands and then get on with it.
