Hi my lovely Welsh people.
In the semester of winter 2021/2022 I had my semester abroad in Cardiff and I absolutely fell in love with Welsh culture. And of course with the love spoon. Soon my bf who's been with me for almost 7 years will smith our own engagement rings and I wanted to give him a lovespoon to show him my love.
I tried to incorporate classical elements (the heart for love, the commas/brocade shapes for our souls, the diamond for prosperity and the interwoven shapes for our lives being intertwined) with one element that stands for us (the double penguin outline). Now this is just some needlewood and it's really my first time carving and I wanted to ask for any tips or other things I should take into consideration to make this as respectful and loveable and beautiful as possible.
