This is a professional club. What the fuck is going on. Nothing about this Xavi situation is professional. Ive seen some of the worst decisions happen this season from getting Romeu to this bs.
If he did everything he promised, no.
I was actually rooting for him in the elections. This dude was planning for the Elections for 3 YEARS. Showing everybody his plans to stabilize the club. Then 6 months from the elections that Fatso comes and says that he will Renew Messi which makes everybody wet themselves for him and Boom he has won the elections. He would have been a better President 100%
No. His answer to every question was Xavi. He actively supports cvc deal and wants to privatise the club.
Laporta has to deliver with the Nike deal now, but at least he never wanted to privatise the club
maybe. yeah sure his entire election campaign was about xavi but he did have more to him. using xavi’s name was better to get a vote. lets not act like laporta wasnt the same with his fake messi renewal promise and nostalgia from his previous term as the president
NO
Of course
Realistically speaking, isn’t there a better option than Laporta or Font ? I’m low key curious 🧐
Absolutely not
I hate laporta with a passion now but idk
Yes! He will bring us Xavi as coach, the big bet of his candidacy………………………………………………………………..
Yes. Anyone who claims he would solely rely on Xavi never bothered to read his programme. Also, Laporta weaseled his way into the office promising to keep Messi. Well, that didn’t turn out the right way
Nope
I know I will be downvoted to hell, but I would rather accept the club to be privatised, rather than having incompetent politicians that are using pseudo-journalists as a tool for their inside-club games as chairmans. Most clubs that are getting the biggest revenue in the world are privatised (aside from Spain and Germany). Competing on a market financially with country-clubs while using an old model is nearly impossible.
Nope, I think he would’ve done worse.
Font should only come in once the club is in a better state.
Nope. Bro had no idea how to solve our financial situation. Even though Laporta is handling the Xavi issue poorly, his tenure will still be a huge succes purely because we didnt go bankrupt or had to sell out to the saudis.
I wanted Font for the elections. People didn’t care about the elections the way they should have, they just voted for Laporta because of his previous tenure and didn’t consider the others or at least think properly. What a shame.

Laporta came and said Messi would stay
It was part of everyone’s campaign
Maybe Victor would have made a lot more effort for Messi to stay.
Financially, I don’t know, but he seemed to have things clear since the very beginning. Laporta gives some heavy improvisation vibes to everything.
No. His campaign was about going back old Barca and bring Xavi. Actually, I don’t even remember what was Laporta campaigning? I think it was just about “I got experience and connections”. Laporta has done what Font promised (Xavi as coach). The rest like sponsorship deals I am not so sure who would have done better job. Font is politician like Laporta not a business man. I guess he would have been more less the same as Laporta. Barto even a donkey would have been an update. Maybe if I could jump on parallel universe where Font is president I would be mostly intrested to see how he would have handle Messi’s departure.
The financial situation is what it is, the only different solution if you don’t want to play the patience game would be selling the club to an investor group, but that would be really sad as lifetime fan
