What’s he hoping to achieve?
To be honest, I see absolutely no value in exhuming decade old tweets like it’s some massive “Gotcha” moment.
People are capable of learning and personal growth.
The act of attempting a politically discredit people for tweets from decades ago is about as stupid as trying to politically discredit people for “flip-flopping” on issues: the implication being that the subject changes their mind on issues and therefore isn’t strong. Like…. is there anything more weak that being presented with new facts or information and just ploughing on with your old position just…. because?
Imagine the amount of shite you’d have to thrawl through to find the “holy grail” misogynistic, racist or homophobic tweet from over a decade ago? Is there anything more sad or pathetic or such a waste of time and effort? Especially considering that the whole thing can be undone with “These are no longer my views.”
No i don’t think i will because i don’t have Twitter and it’s a Toxic shit house from what i’ve heard.
