3. Great stuff again Dave. I remember this well too, awful throwing piss at weans just trying to walk to school. Dark days they were, dark days indeed. The juxtaposition of the soundtrack really makes you appreciate how far we’ve come.

4. A heartwarming tale of how little girls were overcome with tears of joy as their loyalist neighbours cheered for them on their way to school only to be prevented from showing their affection by the repressive state who wants to divide us.

5. The fact no one from the loyalist side stood back and thought “Fuck, attacking school girls makes us look like pure scumbags internationally”. Helped to show the level of extremism and hatred within loyalist circles that this was the battle they were willing to fight, against fucking children.

7. Beggars belief how this was allowed to happen, and go on as long as it did. I’ve cleaned more brains of the sole of my shoe than what those cretins had that were out protesting at this.

8. Theres one scene that stands out that is truely a represenation of them pricks hurling the abuse at the kids.

   Mum telling her kid that things are fine and ”theres the gate, theres the gate, its all over” seconds later, a pipe bomb goes off down by police lines.

   From that point on, that entire section of Ardoyne was scum to me. A pipe bomb thrown to stop kids going to school. Sickening fucks.

9. The funniest part this is before the era of anyone ever hearing about “false flags” or people attempting to subvert the perception of a community by pretending to be it. They were proud then when they did it, they went on TV and said they were proud. Worst of all, you can still go to the area, find people who would be in their 30s and 40s now and they’d **still say** they were proud of what they did.

11. Thankfully most of the attackers are probably dead due to chain smoking, drug abuse/ alcohol abuse and being shot by former friends.
