  12. Just FYI, the first measles vaccine isnt given until the child is 12 months, second isn’t given until 4-6 years of age.

  14. fyi measles was almost unheard of in most western countries thanks to vaccines. now thanks to open border policies of the west, you better get you kids vaccinated. I had measles. not fun.

  15. 50s, very early 60s, we’d be sent to play with sick kids to *get it out of the way*. Mumps, measles, rubella. Some kid down the street had it? I was sent on down. All the other neighborhood kids would also show up. I’m surprised no one died.
