  1. It took about 80 years for the first foot. The second one will only take 30 years. The next, 20 years. And Florida could see the next foot in merely a decade after that.

“Sea level rise is beginning to speed up a bit,” McNoldy said. “If you draw a straight line it starts to not look so straight in recent decades.”

  2. Good thing they’re hard at work preparing for this!

    …right?

  3. And lots of people are still moving there. There’s a predictable, mitigable economic disaster coming in FL but people are admiring the Emperor’s new clothes.

  4. Impossible governor, Ronda Santos outlawed climate change.

  5. The two early items are flooded septic systems and lack for fresh water. The lack for fresh water damages agriculture and kills trees. People have got problems about houses being flooded with the cost of homeowner policies going up. The state has tried to help out with flood insurance but the coverage doesn’t necessarily allow people to rebuild buildings. What is Florida going to do about flooded and damaged roads and other infrastructure?

But if the governor don’t talk about it, maybe sea level rise “won’t happen.”

  6. Florida is guaranteed to be completely gone, at this point if your still there you’re a moron.
