    This isn’t cost of living crisis. It’s a cost of crime crisis.

    People aren’t stealing a leg of meat to survive they’re stealing them to sell for drugs.

  5. They’ve got them on washing machine tablets at my local. The nice meats in plastic lock boxes.

  6. Shoplifting has now effectively been decriminalised in this country. Sad state of affairs for what’s supposedly a highly developed country.

  7. No, just no real repercussions for shoplifters. Met don’t do much, so shop owners have to.
