I actually think he’s faired better tbh. Sadly he isn’t the first politician to have accepted money from convicted criminals or try to deceive the public, however most do eventually fall on their sword (I’m thinking Matt Hancock style). This just smacks of desperation and a man who know’s his days are numbered.
