‘We got everything we ever wanted’

[Music] wow I’m over the moon about the results truly um I feel like we we got everything we ever wanted and the fact that we were here was already the winning uh place for for us and um I’m truly grateful for all the all the support I got from everyone uh all the love I got it’s it’s out of this world and I cannot thank anyone more than I um ever can so I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone and protests controversy how how have you sort of got through that um I was focused on my goal on representing us with pride and um nothing around really affected me and there’s been a lot of Backstage drama with other contestants what’s it been like backstage um I’ve been sending Good Vibes I’ve been focusing on um spreading love and spreading good energy and um getting to know everyone

Israel’s Eurovision candidate Eden Golan tells Sky News that her focus was on representing her nation with pride and “nothing else really affected me” as protests took place outside and some fans booed her performance.

  18. She hid in her hotel room all the time that's how she got through it. Nothing against her I am sure she's a lovely person but she shouldn't be allowed in the competition. They are in the middle of a war. Anyone in a war should not be allowed. It ruined the whole competition and stressed out all her competitors.

  39. She shouldn't have been there. Making a lot of people uncomfortable. Russia wasn't there and The Netherlands disqualified. Than Israel shouldn't be there, also safety reasons. It's not her, it's not hate it's just the situation.
