18:30 – 19:30 – ITV National and International News
19:30 – 20:00 – Emmerdale
20:00 – 21:00 – Coronation Street

I’d expect BBC to do something with EastEnders to stop it clashing. Maybe put EastEnders at 19:00 and The One Show at 19:30?
Not sure what they’re going to pack the extra half hour out with. Personally I’d rather they focused on making their main news presentation more professional and dump the emotive language. I’ll decide how outraged I want to be by this story thanks very much.
: 20 mins speculation about news and what it might mean
ITV news tends to be the best for entertainment value, while BBC news is much better for actual objective coverage. Will be interesting to see how they pad out a full hour.
Christ, are there that many government fuck ups coming out now? Or is this in readiness for the leadership campaign when they all start flinging dirty secrets to undermine each other’s campaigns?
Well this will annoy the people I know that watch all the soaps and struggle with/don’t understand on demand tv. Hopefully it’ll work out with +1 or something.
Not sure why they need more time for news, maybe Sally is going to start covering more fluff.
I actually watch itv news over BBC as it’s starts with the local news as that’s far more likely to be stuff I haven’t read about on Twitter/online already
