Hello everyone,
I’ll soon be setting off on a van trip with my Norwegian girlfriend and her sister. Attached is our route, which begins and ends in Asker. We’re planning to do some fly fishing and hiking along the way.
Since my girlfriend is still recovering from knee surgery a couple of months ago, our main focus is on enjoying a scenic trip. We have a few campsites in mind that we found on Park4Night and plan to mostly stick to free spots along the side of the road.
Additionally, we’re planning to take the train into Bergen from Voss for a day.
I’m not looking for anyone to plan our trip, just seeing if there are any must-see spots or activities along our route that you think we should really prioritize. Whether it's beautiful nature spots, a great brewery, or anything else that comes to mind, I’d love to hear your suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

You’re passing by Ægir brewery and not too far from Lindheim. IMO Lindheim is probably the most interesting of them, but Ægir is pretty good as well.
You can not use Park4Night (or similar services; they copy each others databases). They are a fraud. The places they “advertise” are not legal park or stay in a camper van.
In a motorized vehicle, you have to use actual (paid) camp sites.
about 40 mins from Sognedal there is this hike trail head for “rundtur till eggenipa”. Its a lesser known trail but has stunning views, even only a short distance from the trail hea Also a cider tasting close to Utne or Alsaker could be fun.
You may want to do a detour up to Vøringsfossen. Not too far from the Hardangerfjord bridge
I haven’t been yet myself, but I hear good things about Fretland bakery in Lærdal: [https://www.fredagfretland.no/](https://www.fredagfretland.no/)
Also, I see you are going to be around Sogndal and I would highly recommend dropping by Fjærland, particularly if you enjoy books: [https://bokbyen.no/](https://bokbyen.no/)
