1. If you don’t know, Garvey’s the Republican running against Adam Schiff for California’s open Senate seat.

7. Corruption is the Christian way. You know, like when Jesus said, “Give unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and give unto God what is God’s.” Make sense now? No? Well what’s a little cognitive dissonance among siblings in Christ, right?

8. Strip away their tax exemption status.

9. “Garvey has had financial troubles in the past, and some of his difficulties linger. The Bee reported in March that Garvey owed state and federal taxes incurred 13 years ago totaling at least $350,000 and as much as $750,000, according to his February financial disclosure statement.”
