   Quite an important bit of context, isn’t this? Like, regardless of how you feel about the severity of the punishment, it is for an actual crime.

2. The Jewish population of Iran was over 150,000 in the 1940s. Now it’s shrunk to under 10,000 – nearly a 95% decline. Similar story in North Africa and the Arab world. Jews have been ethnically cleansed from the entirety of the Muslim world. Now, Iran is targeting remaining small community. Isn’t it funny how there’s an actual genocide that isn’t being protested?

While Iran is way too liberal with its application of the death penalty, I’m not so sure about immediately politicizing this one because the guy did kill a man in a fight, under Iranian law that’s a death sentence and that’s one of the least controversial things you could be sentenced to death for.

   A person is being killed is horrible,his background shouldn’t be a justification to live or a political reason why to continue to kill people.
