Eurovision fans boo Israeli singer

Some members of the Eurovision crowd booed Israeli performer Eden Golan at the competition’s rehearsal.

The Israeli entry to the competition has drawn criticism due to the war against Hamas in Gaza.

  12. I'm Swedish and disgusted by the absurd measures taken JUST to ensure the genocidal state of Israel got a stage for it's propaganda! DESPITE other countries have been excluded for less. Israel destroyed the event for EVERYONE, other artist were disqualified, CENSORED, people in different roles in the production dropped out one by one until the last minute before the finals yesterday. I've never experienced a year like this ever before.. There was absolutely no joy at all, everyone feeling relieved it's over. The most disturbing thing is that Eden and the Israeli delegation didn't bother at all, instead they portrayed themselves as victims of BULLYING by all other artists, fans, everyone.. The security and safety MEASURES her presence required (I've not seen any reports in Sweden about any threats directed against her, or at all for that matter..) but because of the nature of atrocities her country is carrying out right now, THEY EXPECTED reactions in level with their own actions, BUT normal civilised people don't act like they do! The bill for HER petition, WE the 🇸🇪 taxpayers have to pay! The power this country seems to have is scary as f*CK! This have to stop!

  16. The reason she got booed is because she started to sing in Hebrew, it was just that moment of the song that had to get booed on.
