Well this confirms why he started the book podcast. It was announced he was gonna take a “break” from his show to do the podcast in early April. Which made no sense as who takes a break after a couple of months? Seemed clear at the time he was being dropped hahahahahahahaha

I’m no fan but it’s still early to have an over all view of the changes in that slot since he took over. The way they do radio ratings is archaic and takes ages to get a proper average. A year really but yeah it doesn’t look good and shows how crazy over paid they all are here

While we do have a problem with losing talent to emigration (we are a small country and do have limited opportunities), this is one ‘talent’ that fuck right off. I don’t even hate the guy as a host (mediocre to average presenter) but the culture of entitlement that RTE created around its ‘talent’ was always disgusting and at the expense of everyone else. I really dislike Tubs for his self serving nature and greed.
Amazing, he even has the lead in of being after Chris Evans, which means roughly 1.4 million people switch off when he comes on.
