The city whos name has forever been tarnished by that one instagram account.
You are standing on St. Michiels bridge, looking North.
The large gothic building to the right was the post office, now a hotel. The left and right banks of the river are the Korenlei (l) and Graslei (r). This was the heart of the grain trade in Medieval times. A little to the right of the bridge you see in the distance is a shop on a side street. It is the Tierenteyn mustard shop, opened in the 1700s. My family have bought mustard from them for generations.
You unlocked some memories… was there in 2010

Ghent! Very proud of myself for recognising it despite visiting only for a day lol. Had a lovely croque monsieur on the riverbank, such lovely memories
