The connection between this car and geopolitics
Kim Jong-un is enjoying his new car it’s not just any car it’s a luxury limousine made in Russia the kind of car the Russian Elites drive and he gave it to Kim Russian President Vladimir Putin why does it matter well North Korea is under strict International sanctions for its nuclear weapons program and missile tests and luxury cars fall under those sanctions the fullscale invasion of Ukraine has meant more sanctions for Putin that’s when these two became close closer and these two train stations have seen an increase in traffic lately tumangang in North Korea and Hassan in Russia the US and South Korea have accused North Korea of supplying Russia with weapons and artillery shells for the war in Ukraine and North Korea may in turn have received food economic aid and Military assistance from the Russians so it’s not just a car this appears to be a growing friendship
Vladimir Putin sent an expensive gift to Kim Jong Un. Here’s why it matters.

Nothing to see here, they are neighbors
Seems coercive control, even in the form of sanctions, may deliver some outcomes which are not in the interest of humanity – unity, prosperity, and peace on earth🧘♀️
Neither of them is capable of love
The internet should not be talking about their anymore , just a terrorist leaders
You can imaagine what a primitive hunk o' junk a Russian luxury car is.
It’s the power. No one can stop
Duh…. No where else to go. Still very dangerous alliance

That wasn't the only gift. The Kim gave a holy sausage link to Putin in the end.
Why does DW care? Russia and Korea are both independent countries and may trade whatever they like. Including cars, weapons and food.
