As a result of Russian strikes on the Cherkasy Lozova Malodanilivska community, at least six people have died, and at least 16 have been injured. Among those killed is a woman seven months pregnant, and among the injured are an eight-year-old child, a paramedic, and a police officer.
“The area is full of greenery, so we have divided the entire territory of the base into squares and are checking to ensure that there are no more casualties. For example, one of the killed was found 100 meters away from the base, he was fishing—direct impact of shrapnel to the heart,” said the emergency responder, Serhii. He added:
“Russia delivered a double tap: the second strike occurred 15-20 minutes after the first. At the time of the strike, there were only civilians who were resting here. There has never been a military presence here.”
Valentyna Vyetskur, a 70-year-old, lost her husband, 74-year-old Mykola, and herself sustained injuries.
“My Mykola went out. He said, ‘I’ll take a walk.’ Then there was a hit and windows got opened. I started calling my husband. But his phone was out of range. I came out here, and just as I reached the corner, it hit again. Glass shattered, and a fragment grazed my head. Everything was covered in blood. The dog was killed. Then I went to the campground to look for my husband. And they found him in the water, with the dog beside him. I curse them! What have we done to them? There were no soldiers here. They took four neighbors to the hospital! One neighbor had her chest torn off, another had holes in his legs… And I don’t know if they managed to get the one whose chest was torn off to the hospital. People were relaxing at the lakeshore, they were with their children.”

Russia needs to be erased along with its friend who fully supports it
Killing a baby before it’s even been born. That sums up russian aggression perfectly. Fuck them.
Sick f*cks, to shell such a target is completely overboard, let alone double tap it.
russia is a terrorist state.
ruzzia is a terrorist state, in case anyone forgot. and some people want Ukraine to stop fighting? not until every terrorist is eliminated and ruzzia starts paying reparations. which will never be enough for all the crimes they have committed.
We can rebuild a house or a dam. We can’t bring hundreds of thousands of our people back to life, unfortunately.
This is the farthest thing from a military target I can think of, Russia must pay for this war
We curse them.
God bless the innocent.
Slava Ukraini 🙏🇺🇦
Disgusting SOBs.
“Russia delivered a double tap: the second strike occurred 15-20 minutes after the first. At the time of the strike, there were only civilians who were resting here. There has never been a military presence here.”
The first strike is already a crime. The second strike is the worst kind of terrorism. It is intended to kill anyone who cares about the first strike. It’s a design. A “tactic.”
I am comfortable with the word evil. I feel have high standards and am not a sloppy thinker. But this tactic — designed yes, to kill any rescuers, any survivors too — at this point, in my thinking, I am comfortable calling that evil.
*Why is Russia forcing me to double-check basic philosophy?* I do not want to think about evil. I prefer the plain old wreckages of human folly and stupidity. And that stuff is hard enough, because people are guilty and they suffer for such crimes, and innocent people suffer for such crimes. Plain basic human wrongdoing causes enough heartache, really. Plenty to occupy us. More than enough.
I think it is easier to understand a low-level Ukrainian traitor, than a Russian pilot or missile crew. The everyday traitor is a scum, and I hope they enjoy jail. Sadly every country harbors some who will say, “Hmm, yes, a traitor. That’s me.” But the traitor is a kind of fool. I pity them, mostly. I am not sure I would dignify them by saying they are evil.
But the pilots and launchers and button pressers. The ones who say, make sure to double tap. The ones who do the work. I refuse to grant any of them clemency.
Part of Russia’s problem, a *giant* chain around the spirit of Russia, is they have never confronted their own potential for evil. They have always been granted a “yes but,” an excuse, a pass, a lie, a shrug, a useful looking the other way, a wink.
I will not be party to another generation of westerner that says “yes but” about Russian evil. We shall rehearse basic philosophy on Russia’s ass.
I think russia is trying to provoke a similar response from Ukraine. All Western countries would have to do is use their air forces to defend the Ukrainian sky. These glide bombs would stop quickly.
