  1. Normally I like a decent amount of what she wears (at least lately) but this is….not great. The color is gorgeous on her but the fabric and cut is so unflattering! You can do better Duchess Sophie!

  8. I love Sophie’s outfit. The older I get, the more I prefer comfortable clothes, beautiful shade of green too.

  9. I’m almost sure that the colour is ‘Edinburgh green’. I seem to remember the late Queen wearing it at her husband’s post-Covid memorial service because it was his livery colour. I assume Edward and Sophie have adopted it too.

  10. I wish they gave her dress big pockets instead of making her hold the handbag. It breaks up the symmetry of the pictures when everyone is standing at attention.

  13. I love Sophie’s dress (and would even more if it had a pop of complimentary color, maybe at the waistband, and maybe a jaunty little hat)

    I like how different the dress is from the usual. If part of your role is how you’re dressed, and you’re one of the few folks not in a suit or uniform, having some fun with the wardrobe like this is delightful, and she pulls it off really well…

  15. I like Sophie’s outfit but I’m not a fan of the skirt – too puffy. But overall it’s great.

  16. She’s either put on a great deal of weight, or petticoats are back in style, or perhaps a crinoline.
