West’s stance on Ukraine war ‘completely nonsensical,’ says UK defense secretary

   Yeah, but we all know why that happened.

2. It’s a stance of ill person, who instead of going to the doctor, decides to wait “maybe it will cure on its own”, and ofc. it’s only getting worse.

3. What a terrible day. Grant Shapps has said something I agree with.

   It’s been a nice life but it is clearly time for me to step in the forever box.

4. The old worries about Russia losing creating unstable geopolitics are gone.

   Russia througg a prolonged process in Ukraine which forced it to organise supply chains and enlarge it’s military now ahs other irons in the fire, Ukraine is no longer their only priority.

   Ukraine winning the war will not up end geopolitics Russia has new alliances because they had the time to do it.

   It is time Ukraine was adequately armed. It isn’t an existential crisis for Russia to lose.

   The west has delayed the inevitable crisis and tied it to China hopefully the west doesn’t sleepwalk into that and enacts strong tariffs in order to prevent conflict in south east Asia.

   To summerise there is no existential crisis for Russia and the west should arm Ukraine so they can win.

   Just you watch. They’re due a mini reshuffle to go into their election campaign and I bet old Shappsy gets replaced with someone who has served. 

   Labour will no doubt put someone in with service and think that the Tories will do too.
