  1. The New York Times is also reporting that the EU has joined the search: “The European Union activated its Copernicus satellite system to offer emergency mapping services to help Iranian officials gain better visibility of the area where the crash is believed to have occurred, according to the bloc’s chief for crisis management, Janez Lenarcic. He said the E.U. had done so after a request for assistance from Iran.”

  2. Is this a reward for Iran’s annual kidnappings of European citizens?

  3. I hope they locate him over there…and there…and there…and there.

  4. Damn Putin is busy these days

Failed on *Slovakian president shooting, and now this..

  5. Let’s just ignore the Shaheds killing Ukrainians, houthis shooting up ships, and kidnapping and imprisonment of westerners. What could incline this help, or justify it? If you could provide names of politicians supporting this so I can vote accordingly.

  6. AND WE ARE DOING THIS WHY, EXACTLY?

Let the scumbag rot in hell.

  7. Every day hundreds of EU civilian aircraft fly through Iranian airspace. It’s literally the only way right now to get between EU and Asia. For that reason alone, I can understand why EU is helping.

  8. That’s our chance to troll them.

Dear EU, send them dick pics instead.

  9. Did he perhaps disagree with the mullahs on the latest executions?

  11. Didn’t they like hang two ladies lately? Karma is real, karma is strong.

  12. Does his/her etc death in any way positively affect the survival of the innocent victims of Ukraine or Palestine?

  13. I think this gesture will help (a little) to descalate the wasp nest we have in middle east. A lot of warmonger rethoric here! My taxes are better spent in this (today) than in bombs.

In the wars a lot of people die, if you didn’t know. And usually most of them are people that will prefer peace over taking their clildren corpses from the rubble.

  14. This guy has caused a lot of misery around the middle east, may Ayatollah follow him soon

  15. It’s an easy and free way to score diplomatic points. Why wouldn’t you do it? Worst case ace, nothing changed, best case scenario the president of an unfriendly nation owes you a favour.

  16. 2 mass murderers went missing visiting another war criminal…

  17. Do I have dyslexia or is the writer of the article worse than me in English?

  18. Maybe lob a cruise missile when they find him? You know, to light the place up for S&R.

  19. It’s politics. EU is offering, Iran will never accept.

  20. This asshole killed thousands or tens of thousands of Iranian in 1988, many of them were tortured.
As president he and the regime killed and tortured 558 people during the protests.
He appose every value of the western world, the decision is a spat on the face of his endless list of victims.

  21. How can’t this be considered an insulting patronizing gesture from Isreal’s supporters in the Iranian officials’ eyes ?

  22. This story developed. Wasn’t it just this morning that the story was his helicopter had a “rough landing” and now they don’t know where he is?

  23. So we should assume the worst? Or the beach case scenario? 🤔

  24. Isn’t it weird that two of the pro Russian leaders are heavilty injured in the span of a week?

  25. I can imagine Wikipedia editors having already changed his whole wiki page to past tense and they are staying up all night to click the publish button when the news are out.

  26. Let that fucking bastard burn slowly and surely, arse first!

  27. I can’t believe how dense people here are.

Yes, the man was a monster. But even without the slightest evidence of any foreign hand in this, that would be about the worst possible thing right now to happen to that region. A major player like this being taken off the board so suddenly never ends well for any party.

It’s obvious why you lend a hand as a diplomatic gesture.

  28. Are you fucking kidding me? These motherfuckers help with bombing European cities and you’re going to HELP THEM?

  29. Let’s hope it’s so they can get there first and finish him off.
