  3. Next season we go all in. If we get Simmons on loan, a decent CDM, LW (if possible) and we can expect a very special season. We got them nice kits as well. I think next season Xavi will run out of excuses unless something very very crazy happens. We need to bring some silverware back to Barca.

  5. After watching Madrid against villareal I can safely say no team can survive without a proper cdm and Barca didn’t have one the whole season
    Maybe Xavi might actually improve next season

  6. These boring games of one type are unattractive. We have been losing big matches for a long time. It’s bad that we are losing attractiveness as a brand. We are already late and it will be difficult to rise.

  7. People on this reactionary sub don’t understand the importance of a good CDM. There is a reason we played far better last season both in the style and in the defense even with a 35yo Busquets. There is a reason Pep bought Rodri for 70 mil euros.

    This whole season our best CDM was a Centreback who played there for the first time. You can’t compete that way, CDM is a mostly positional position, you place a foot wrong all goes to shit.

    Xavi wanted Zubi this summer, the board didn’t achieve it, that is why he wanted Busquets to stay. You can’t really blame Xavi too much.

  8. I for one is quite optimistic about the future. Firstly, our core is basically built upon VERY young players: these will all be one year older. We’ll also get Gavi and Balde back.
    Secondly, this shitshow the club is in financially can’t go on forever. We’ll get Nou Camp back which will do a lot.

    Imagine a couple of years from now – Gavi, Pedri, Cubarsi, Lamine, Fort, Balde etc will all be in their early 20s, we’ll probably have a more stable financial situation and vote for a new president.
