    Rep. Jasmine Crockett has zero regrets about her heated exchange with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene during a House committee hearing last week, telling CNN that Greene’s insult about Crockett’s appearance was “absolutely” racist.

    “Do you think her going after your eyelashes, that that, in itself, is racist?” *State of the Union* host Jake Tapper asked Crockett on Sunday.

    “I think her specifically doing it to me, yes, that was the intent,” Crockett said.

  7. I don’t know. MTG is racist for parroting white nationalist talking points like great replacement theory, but I don’t think a knock on Crockett’s eyebrows or whatever is racist. Using butch as an insult is also probably not ideal. Kind of a disaster of a hearing, but everyone will forget about this in a week anyway.

    Edit: Democrats need to learn what helps republicans get re-elected and what hurts them. They are going at it all wrong.

  39. I asked my black friend for coco butter once when I was staying over his house. It was for my wife and he said that was racist. He gave me his Palmers and I told him that brand is what breast feeding white women buy.

    While we did this in jest, it only proves that racism can have indirect roots that are race coded.
