Lovely to see. Makes me proud to be British with the work we are doing regarding climate change and green energy.
Literally one of the only countries on this continent actually doing something to combat climate change.
Eh, nonsense. All this money is ending up in pockets of the 1%. The Earth cools for 50-150yrs then warms up for 50-150yrs on it’s own, been happening since planets exist. A few decades of warming won’t change the fact overall over the last 20,000-30,000yrs our planet is on a cooling trend of -10 degrees so temperatures increasing by 1 degree in the last 50yrs is a good thing. All this green BS is just propaganda from the rich, they hide behind the green logo and make more money than they did with oil and create less energy. Same money for less energy.
Good, the UK should invest in green energy as much as possible, this is only positive news for anyone who wants to preserve and cherish our lovely isles. I’ll never forget the images of London during the Great Smog, it makes the London of today look like a haven. Same for Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast.
I do hope the coal plants on the mainland are shutdown in due course, Poland’s in particular, the European continent is so utterly stunning, we need to do all we can to maintain it.
Conservatives are bollocks, but they’ve been remarkably good at putting their money where their mouth is on climate change. They announced a big action plan today as well that seems to decently spread this “revolution” around the UK, promoting jobs in the north of England etc.
It’s a shame COP26 is going to be mired by certain countries co-opting the event to complain about UK fishing/ trade etc instead of the actual issues. G7 this year was the same.
Great
Why is that even conservatives in the UK are smarter and more attached to reality than conservatives in America?
