  1. Interesting article! Though I don’t know if we can get our hopes up for the drone boat attacks the writer talks up (those slips are extremely well defended against seaborne attack).

    But it makes you wonder why, if Russia can’t do maintenance and loading and such if they’re submerged at their mooring, they don’t just put them out to sea in that state. They wouldn’t be operational either way, but it would be harder to find them if they’re not, you know, where they’re expected to be.

    Oh well, short of an ingenious new tactic for ATACMS (which I wouldn’t put past ukraine), anything that removes then as an operational threat is a good thing.

  3. I was hoping Ukraine had submerged them, but it seems Russia did it. Darn.

  4. How soon until a Russian ship hits one or it just sinks from lack of maintenance?
