Am I the only one who thinks the answer r to this is simple? It HAS to be Thiago Motta. De Zerbi will divide this changing room just like he did with Brighton at the end of the season. He likes to fight with players and if they don’t like his ideas they’re gone… Defensively we would be in shambles as well. I just hope the board doesn’t pick him just because he’s Italian…

Going from Allegri to de Zerbi is a 180 degree. We did this with Sarri and a better squad and was unsuccessful. It would be too much of a shock for the team. Motta’s style seems to be more grounded and pragmatic while simultaneously could fix some of our pressing gameplay issues.
Thiago Motta is technically Italian also
None, they both haven’t proven anything
Motta but De Zerbi won’t divide the dressing room, the issue at Brighton was them overachieving and the coach wanting to try keep winning but the owners didn’t want to deviate from the plan of developing players and selling them like they always did with their excellent scouting network.
Should Motta not be available or not possible to get then De Zerbi won’t be a bad option as I believe they parted ways mutually so there won’t be a fee to pay.
Thiago Motta is and will become our coach from the leaks however I hope everyone gives the same attitude we gave Allegri, Sarri and Pirlo when they were not delivering results and non of that bs of “he needed to rebuild the squad” because all of them needed it but never arrived
Motta if I really have to choose between them (I think De Zerbi is a Zeman 2.0, very overrated IMHO).
It can dream, I’d love Zizou or Klopp
Motta. We can afford a few of his crew from Bologna which will make the transition easier as well.
He plays nice but still pragmatic football. Could be a great coach for us
It’s obvious. Motta is the main target and if that fails for whatever reason, then De Zerbi is on speed dial. We’ll know in the next few days or so.
RDZ because of the beautiful football they play at Brighton. Motta would also be good. I almost hope RDZ goes to Barca though, would be nice to see an Italian there
