Hello /r/Poland
My grandfather was Polish, he served in the Polish airforce in exile and ended up in the UK.
He left the polish airforce in exile in June 1947 and went onwards to civilian life after this (albeit working for the meteorological office in the UK)
I'm currently in the process of waiting for his military records as instructed by my solicitor, However I have been back and forwards to the national archives (UK) and have a few different documents, however one document I received is making me think I have sadly lost the eligibility to apply.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Apologies if this has been asked before, I've done some searching but couldn't find anything.
