I have a history of dropping my phone and I used to work in healthcare, toilet breaks were the only time I got to sit down.
It is clearly the logical choice.
I also mostly sit down, because I’m lazy also it takes more time to piss which is pretty good when you are at work
I’m actually shocked that those numbers are so low? Unfortunately, we do not know how the question for the statistic was asked. Of course I prefer to use a urinal in public toilets, but at home? Why shouldn’t I sit down at home? I know of no logical reason why I should soil my bathroom at home…
I read this while sitting on the toilet. It’s my toilet and I have to clean it so I sit to reduce the work.

I have a theory! after the war most men were dead. I personally don’t know anyone of that age who had a father figure who would’ve been fighting age.
if you were lucky your father figure was at the time 10-17 and “only” fought in the volkssturm. seems to me more people who had their fathers of that age also knew their fathers.
so I believe that after the war there were more women than men, and thus raising the sons by single mothers. those single mothers will teach their sons to sit while peeing.
