  1. We have to be a serious club and think about bringing the best players in the team and also we must not be afraid about selling players who don’t deserve to stay in the team.

  2. I know the lack of a coach is due in massive part to our friends Uli and Kalle…

However, I wonder if this is shaking anything loose in the players egos also? It isn’t like people are beating down our door, and Uli and Kalle are turning them all away. The team must wonder why no one seems to want to be at the helm of this squad, no?

  3. Pletti’s reveals weren’t a surprise but (being generous and not pessimistic) it is disappointing to know the Eberl/Freund duo are so far incapable of earning Uli’s trust. If Uli needs to see progress before he relaxes and lets go, he has to be more involved and not just veto decisions and deals he doesn’t understand.

The point of a veto is to be so informed about a topic that you feel you have earned the right to override the will of others. Vetoing out of ignorance might work in one aspect (“if I’ve never heard of him, he isn’t big enough to manage Bayern”) but it doesn’t work after four or five rejections and a quickly paced sprint to the new season.

I think firing Tuchel without a replacement was a very bad idea because it set Eberl up for this quixotic manager search that has undermined him and his image and reputation. If they had retained Tuchel they could’ve fired him after the season *anyway*.

And it was all but confirmed Uli attacked Tuchel to get the club to cut ties with the guy. I’m not sure what Uli has against him but it’s funny. I found Tuchel to be very sympathetic tbh.

  4. Pletti seems like a guy who will publish a news about every possible outcome then flex that he was right. When you look through his news about coach and who is close, who is talked etc he seems way out of mark.

So I don’t beleive a word he is saying now too.

  5. time for a strategy change… let’s just keep the door at Säbener Straße open and wait for walk-ins…

  6. Just saw that St. Pauli signed Magnus Carlsen to play in the Bundesliga!

Uli when someone shows a hint of disagreement with him

  8. >Official: Bayern will face Tottenham in Seoul on 3 August as part of the Audi Summer Tour

With or without a coach ?

  9. I honor everything Uli has done for this club in the past. But it really is time to step down. And by step down I don’t just mean take a lesser role, because that obviously didn’t work at all. Retire, enjoy life at Tegernsee and let go.

  10. So . The current coach list is like this? ( I left out the Italian ones)

    Coaches we’d love

    Zidane

Coaches we’d accept but with a little grumbling

    Mou

    Ten hag

    Coaches we don’t want

    Flick

I’m really curious who’s basically left to do the job.

  11. I’m not sold on the “they want an interim solution so they can go for Alonso/Klopp/Pep in 2025” narrative.

According to most reports they were willing to give Rangnick a contract until 2026 (some even say 2027). Same with Nagelsmann and I wouldn’t be surprised if they made similar promises to Glasner.

I don’t think there is a clear strategy if they go for an interim or not, its more a case of “if he is good enough give him a long term contract, if not then he might just be an interim solution”.

  12. I truly can’t think in any candidate, at least they’re going to suprise us, for the good or for the bad, do you think they’re wait for the Euros or we will have coach by those dates?

  13. We need to finish up the coach search this week. We need to start focussing on the transfers and extensions.

  14. Look, De Zerbi is right there. A coach with a clear philosophy that naturally progresses the ideas of Flick and Nagelsmann at Bayern. A coach whose teams play attractive football and who has shown that he can develop young players. And a coach who is available, with no other club to deal with. The reason for seperation with Brighton being a difference in ambition when it comes to transfers – a problem he wouldn’t have with us. We can just talk to the guy, sign him right up, let him form an opinion on the squad and start transfer business with an actual plan behind it in a week or so.

So why don’t we do that? Makes no sense. My guess is the board will come around to this in the next meeting.

  15. Rio Ferdinand (certified fraud) said there are “mutterings” that Pochettino could be on his way out at Chelsea. Another candidate if available?

  16. I wonder if Kahn in his own world must be feeling vindicated with the shit storm’s that going on right now , and blames his own period on Uli and Kalle

  17. I still don’t understand not renewing Tuchel’s contract without having an alternative coach lined up already. It was bad enough that we fired him without being able to secure a suitable replacement in months, but to then also not renew him without having a replacement lined up is madness.

  18. Cottbus and Aachen getting promoted to the 3rd league, thats some mad nostalgia

  19. The times are for sure interesting. We are embracing a coach that had first trophyless season since 2012 and we are trembling with fear that a coach who won 7 thropies may come back.

  20. So Pletti is coming in with another round tonight?

imiasanmia didn’t post anything, but the quotes left here from Pletti’s show are pretty nauseous.

The negative reports we have seen lately is sprinkling pain over this shit seson. It seems neverending.

Gives me hope tho we are in talks with two yet unknown coaches. Very curious who it will be in the end.

  21. > Kingsley Coman suffered an injury in training today. While doing some light dribbling, the Frenchman suddenly fell to the ground, held his knee and screamed loudly in pain. After some treatment, Coman was able to stand again and limped into the dressing room without help. The extent of the injury is still unclear [📸 @BILD]

I’ve always been a fan of his and I’ll always love him for that one goal but maybe it’s time for us to part ways.

  22. > Kim Min-jae has no thoughts of leaving Munich this summer. The defender wants to establish himself again as a regular starter at Bayern next season [@julianbuhl]

Good, I still believe in him.

  23. >Kim on Tuchel’s criticism of him for being too ‘greedy’ and too aggressive: “As a defender, I always played with conviction. But here (at FC Bayern) such qualities were not always needed, which led to a confusion within myself. There were many moments during the game where I hesitated because I couldn’t play with full conviction. I tried very hard to implement what the coach wanted.”

What’s this supposed to mean ? Such qualities are not always needed at this club ?

  24. I’d love to see a ranking of injuries this season, we’re bound to be in top 3 with Chelsea, United and Real probably hovering around there too
