This is the second time I’ve seen this kinda carnage. I love Lime bike but damn they need better storage solutions. take away car parking in central for more designated bike parking perhaps?
They need to limit the number allowed to be parked in a radius. Areas by park gates etc become chaotic. Walking 60 seconds more after parking slightly farther away isn’t a big deal.
I don’t really use Lime bikes, but I do pay tax in the good faith that public access is well maintained and free of obstruction.
I happen to be able bodied and without dependents but even one less able bodied person feeling even more isolated due to this trash is sickening to me. They should be confiscated by the truck load until a resolution is reached. Utterly disgusting.

I think it was for the Hackney Half? If so the organisers should have anticipated this better and had a designated parking area for the bikes.
Wimbledon Tennis, for example, has introduced special parking for hire bikes in a field for this year.
