Do I spy some handholding and other PDA? What do we make of this? For show or for real??
The way the European monarchies have built relationships with each other is so smart, for a multitude of reasons and it also makes these visits seem so natural compared to the stiffness sometimes present in other visits with various monarchies.
Her outfit when they walked along the harbor (white shirt, navy skirt, flats and hat) is so perfect and lovely! I’d love to dress like this… seems so simple to put together, yet so elegant.
p.s. I live in Oslo (but am American) and skipped work for an hour on Tuesday to see them arrive. It was so fun and exciting!
I just saw a post in Instagram showing Queen Mary leaving the royal yacht alone. Caption reads it’s the end of their visit to Norway and she was going back home sans the King. Was this the original plan of their trip?
The light blue really suits Queen Mary.
The underground is a rather surprising choice for photos but it’s actually kinda cute.
I love seeing royalty on transit, and in casual wear, but for the love of god Haakon could have tucked in his shirt.
