8. Surprised they showed wedding pictures with him in it! When his eldest Alaina got married, they were careful to keep him out of all the pictures made public.

    Going from childhood trauma, and abject poverty as a young man supporting his daughter and (now estranged) partner, to all the fame and money and becoming a single father to her, adopting his niece,… battling addiction and embracing sobriety… and meanwhile raising and maintaining a very close relationship what seems like a confident, happy woman who is now married.

    Just incredible.
