In 2018 the then Crown Prince Frederik started the event Royal Run to celebrate his 50th birthday. Different race lengths and 4-5 cities every year, it's become a national event! The King, Queen and their kids split up so every city had a royal running along with them. As of this moment King Frederik is running the 10k in Copenhagen and Queen Mary and Princess Josephine is giving out high fives at the finish line.
