  1. Should be an interesting week. If he somehow skates out of this without any consequence it’s going to be a long next 8 months.

  2. This is like waiting for Christmas when it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet.

The defense has to make their case, or rebuttal; they might have some witnesses. Maybe.

The jury gets to think about all this. It will be interesting to see how long it takes them to come to a unanimous decision (here’s hoping they do).

Then comes the sentencing, assuming Trump is found guilty.

Then the appeal. You know there will be one if he is convicted. But I suspect it won’t go far. And whether or not he gets prison time, and has to check in there before his appeal is finished is something else.

I remember in the 2020 election, sure, Joe won. But I said I wasn’t going to count my chickens until he was safely inaugurated the following January. And look what happened.

So, with this case, I’ll be ready to relax when Trump is found guilty, is sent to prison, and has exhausted his appeals.

  3. Jurors need to ask themselves “Why would Trump repay Cohen over $250,000 when Cohen only paid Stormy $150,000?”

Because he didn’t want voters to find out. Guilty

  4. Trump fuckingdid it. And he did many worse things. And he surrounds himself with the absolute scum of the earth. Is that what you want running this nation?

  5. I will say that I was extremely skeptical at first about the campaign interference angle but their evidence has been rock solid. I think that any sane human being would convict and we just need to hope that the jury is sane.

  6. He’s guilty as can be. Convict him. Hope the Jury does the right thing.

  7. What are the chances someone from Team Trump is buying off one or more of the jurors?

  8. Doesnt matter. He’s just going to appeal. Thats why he slept. He didnt give a fuck

  9. Is Fox News covering any of it? If not many people will not even hear about the verdict

  10. I think we all know is he is guilty but I have no faith in our justice system. Why now all of a sudden would he be held accountable for his actions? It’s def going to be a hung jury

  11. It’s frightening that democracy rests on these jurors..

  12. Regardless of how many witnesses or evidence or slam dunk proof. Nothing will happen to this turd, he is raising and will continue to raise money because of this trial. We are doing him a favor. He’s not spending a dime and getting tons of publicity. There won’t be enough time for any other trials, if there is, nothing will happen to him, except getting more money without lifting a finger. God help us if he wins the election. **VOTE, PLEASE**

  13. It’ll be a hung jury. Rationale: according to NY Times, at least one juror gets their news from Truth Social. Guaranteed that juror is a brain-washed Trump cultist.

  14. There is already 1 juror who’s job is to vote not guilty….hasn’t listened to a word.

  15. No Weisselberg testimony tying Trump directly to the business records, no conviction. I say this with nothing but loathing for the defendant.

  16. For some objective in the trenches analysis head over to r/law

  17. All I know is that if he was convicted and in prison. 29% of the country would still vote for him.

  18. Lol, calling it now, hung jury. After the appeals court BS this guy won’t be getting any punishment. The only punishment to administer is by voting. If I’m wrong and he is indicted I’ll eat my shoes.

  19. While paying a pornstar to keep her silence for your presidential election is the headline.. that keeps on giving…

The point of this trial is that he paid his lawyer back for taking a remortgage to make the payment. Really think about that.

Would it be ok for an employer to ask their employee to remortgage their home to pay for a new work truck, absolutely not.

  20. The Defense has said they don’t plan on calling any more witnesses but the judge has allowed them the opportunity to reconsider.

What is Trump afraid of? Why won’t he take the stand? Isn’t he the guy that said only guilty people take the 5th?

I think Trump is scared to take the stand. If he was truly innocent then he wouldn’t have any problem getting up there and defending himself, right?
