Thread on boards is some shit show, Irish lads screaming that we need to increase our military spending, and we should buckle under the pressure from the EU/US to do so.
Yet, the objective of getting Russia to move their war games from our waters was done from speaking a few words and ended in a successful “mission”.
But nah, we need to spend billions more on military defensive capabilities. Oh yeah, it took just a few posts in to yada yada about a 10 year spend on Social Welfare vs 1 year military spend.
They netted this victory for us top bunch of lads
The Russians know they would never get to taste Guinness again and turned away.
Neutrality has always been a good thing, but Ireland isn’t truly neutral, its considered a NATO partner because they let NATO planes refuel there. That should probably end.
