I think fans should take a breather for a day from all the drama and appreciate that Bayern still is and will remain one of the greatest clubs ever.
Some people want a big name and won’t settle for anything less because “we are Bayern” – it’s not going to happen this summer.
Just sign Kompany and get it done, the most important thing is getting this sorted ASAP and start planning for summer transfers and next season.
Big names coaches aren’t guaranteed to succeed here either – one recent one in particular probably hasn’t even cleared his office out yet.
Guys, hear me out: [Marek Papszun ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marek_Papszun) xD
Announce van Gaal!
My friend asked why are Bayern fans so upset over not winning the league for one season, despite winning it 10 years in a row.
The question is very valid, but our league wins imo has been deceiving at times. I will argue from 2013 onwards, Bayern were the world’s Top 3 from 2013 until 2018, 2020 until 2022.
The main concern is because of the last 2 years, where our football has been horrendous and more so the club doesn’t have a right direction.
Why is this sub so against Flick coming back. I have seen people here more optimistic with Tuchel staying on, getting Mourinho or Conte and EVEN VINCENT KOMPANY
All because of a documentary. Not saying that he is the right choice, but he definitely doesn’t deserve this disrespect
Hello I come as a Neutral interested in Bundesliga
Why not hire Favre ?
He speaks German, he’s proven in BL and plays attacking football
“Boss, I’m tired..” – The green mile
Sums it up pretty much.
I don’t understand Kompany at all, mainly because if we consider him, we couldve also considered someone like Demichellis who is far more comfortable with the club
People are comparing him with Alonso (as in big promotion season and getting relegated) but we are no development club that has the time, we have a fucking finale dahoam next season
It’s a downhill from here if Kompany comes
Waiting for Kompany’s rejection today
Honestly the Finale Dahoam might be making it difficult for us. Only big coaches can handle that pressure, and ALL of them arent available (Perhaps only Allegri and Mourinho, including Allegri because he HAS went to two UCL finals).
Smaller coaches will find it too pressuring for such expectations. Honestly we should not care about Finale Dahoam and instead focus on a good fit for us in a moderate term
Those same bunch of fanbase who ruled out Flick based on that “kimmich diasagreeing with flick” clip from amazon docu, hyping up Kompany based on that fiery speech in dressing room clip by kompany.. there is a possibility that he can be next Xabi but also there is a possibility that he will be next Lampard.
Hey, I actually don’t think Thomas Frank is a bad idea at all…
Fuck it, let’s roll with Kompany. Burnley were incredible in the Championship in his first season and Pep has never said a single thing about him as a manager that wasn’t glowingly positive. I trust Pep more than the muppets on r/soccer and if they’re saying he’s shit then it makes me want him more. He’s also at least more exciting than some Bundesliga retread due to his potential upside.
I don’t really care what Kompany did this year in the PL, he spent €10-15m on a bunch of players to try to stay competitive and it didn’t work. Worst case scenario – we sack him next season and are exactly where Uli wants us to be. Best case he is Alonso and we have our manager of the future.
Are you all aware that he’s probably a target because he speaks German? It’s crazy that this is still required by Bayern and kind of embarrassing.
I guess Hoeneß doesn’t like to speak English.
are they hoping kompany to turn into xabi as well?
One point why i think the board is hesitant about De Zerbi is his tactics. His Brighton team used to play very deep to lure out opponents and then play out of their own half with predetermined sequences. A counter to this was teams just not pushing up higher in the pitch and letting Brighton have the ball. De Zerbi hasnt really adapted to it yet and I can see how that could make Bayern hesitant since BL clubs wouldnt mind giving Bayern the ball if it didnt amount to pressure in their own half
[No worries Kompany, Lewy’s not with Bayern anymore. ](https://youtu.be/_jy8hC9wJKE?si=FG4tt0ZpK6eZg-6n)
Kompany speaks English and German? Eberl might be getting an orgasm.
