They need to realise that the kind of tourists they are trying to discourage are the kind of tourists that go where they are not wanted. After the Netherlands begged Englishmen to stop going to Amsterdam I know of like 15 people in my local pub that booked a trip there solely because they’d seen adverts telling them not to go. All this will do is bring even more of the bad kind of tourists.

Looking back at it, Barcelonna really seems like one of the worse city in Spain, i went there 2 times and it was always so fucking croweded (mostly by tourist and PICK POCKET ATTENTION PICK POCKET), people aren’t rude but aren’t like “welcoming” either
Meanwhile Sevilla was one of the best trip i ever had, Andalusian bros you’re the best
So on the one hand Juan really needs our hard earned Euros, on the other hand he spits on the tourist money… (there’s a reason why he and Maria come to cold Northern Europe)

I spent alot of sterling in your cafes and weed cafes!
Barcelona used to be nice but it was taken over by cheapskate tourists who stay in €10 a night hotels and still complain about the price, get piss drunk on cheap beer, and take showers once a week. Very luxurious.
I’ll never go to Barcelona again.. Why should I be treated like this? Also Barcelona is a shitty city in my opinion
