the international criminal court is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu his defense secretary and top Hamas leaders on suspicion of war crimes the charges against the Israelis include starvation as a method of war and intentionally directing attacks on civilians Netanyahu said recently that issuing warrants against Israelis would be an outrage of historic proportions Israel has previously denied allegations of war crimes the chief prosecutor is also seeking warrants against Hamas leader Yaya sinoa and two others for charges including hostage taking and extermination as well as rape which the group has previously denied Israel and the United States are not members of the ICC though if the warrant is issued Netanyahu could be arrested if he travels to any of the 124 countries that are members

  7. This, of course assumes that Netanyahu gives a damn and is unwilling to live with the consequences of turning Gaza into a wasteland. On the whole, I assume that he would consider an arrest to be a badge of honour. Personally, I disagree, but I am not him.
