Nethelands haven’t executed people in non-military law since the 1860s. Last people executed were Nazi collaborators, under military law.
In the US it was mostly gallows other than New York State where they’d just adopted the electric chair in 1895.
Guillotine is the best by far, we should make a laser version of it .
