Consumer confidence still below pre-pandemic levels despite economic rebound

1. A booming economy doesn’t matter if people can’t afford anything. I don’t care how big and great it’s all doing when prices have nearly doubled outpacing inflation and wages are barely keeping up with inflation.

   The market is out of wack

2. The landlords are sucking the life out of consumer confidence.

3. My company has very strong results and is offering very low or no salary increases. Bonuses and stocks are great though.

4. People can’t afford things and the ones who can are running out of debt to purchase things.
