My heart breaks for these women. As an American the only thing I can do is donate and vote! Make sure anybody that voted against aid for Ukraine, or for its delay is voted out!

This is so sad, but excuse me if I answer the question “why”. Because for 30 years, these old people voted communist and pro-russian populist “for buckwheat” or sugar. Dismissing the western Ukrainian cry for voting pro-ukrainian as nationalism of “sneaky zapadentsy”. Because “I’m not into politics”. Because for 50 years before that they were brainwashed by Soviet propaganda. This is just too horrible how much evil the USSR did. Downvote all you will. This is the reality, though.

The city is like 5km away from ruzzia, the war has been going on for 2 years. It’s sad, but why waiting something obviously going to happen to happen to evacuate?
There are a lot of people that seemed to have refused to evacuate, from Kherson to up north. They put stress on the evacuation teams by refusing to see reality imo.

These ladies were evacuated from Vovchansk.
“I barely made it under the shelling. Why do I have to leave my home at my old age?” She asks.
Help Ukraine protect these ladies. Give us air defense and weapons!
