  1. Consumers need to be more aware. Average use is over 900 gallons per person per year in the U.S. which puts around 9 tons of carbon into the air.

  2. And it’s business as usual, with no repercussions or holding anyone accountable. How are we supposed to stop this?? It’s so infuriating.

  6. Pledges don’t fail in any sense of the word. Governments and companies make pledges INSTEAD OF TAKING ACTION. Nobody believes the pledges are anything but warm air passing over lips. Pledges make the gullible public believe that something will be done at least until it’s time to make more pledges. Besides, oil firms ARE the cancer, they aren’t aspects of any sort of treatment plan.
