  2. Apparently it’s being treated as an ‘unexplained’ death. I think there’s a very likely explanation…

  6. I have to say this is quite unexpected, as a Hongkonger. The ETO is run by a bunch of bellands and I wouldn’t expect this

  7. Given that the Chinese are as brazened to run police stations in country’s where they operate and have embassy’s.
    Chase down target and harasses them for years on end, I am sure that this accidental death is nothing more than what we do to some of their assets every now and then.

  8. Why would the Chinese kill him, it would discourage further recruitment and be a poor precedent. It was likely suicide in the shame that he betrayed his nation – that isn’t too abnormal. 

  9. One thing is sure on reddit, not a single person in the world is capable of suicide.

  10. He’d already been caught for being a bastard and a traitor so it’s likely a straight forward suicide.

  12. Definitely suicide, if it was China MI5 would know. Theres no way he wasn’t being watched 24/7. If it was China, you’ll see the other two accused put into hiding.
