    on her seventh visit to Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion began.

    I spoke about the frontline situation and Ukraine’s key defense needs. We discussed the joint initiative of German foreign and defense ministers to find additional Patriot and other air defense systems for Ukraine.

    I thank Germany for assisting us in defending our independence, European way of life, and people from Russian terror.

    Під час зустрічі розповів про ситуацію на передовій і першочергові оборонні потреби України. Обговорили спільну ініціативу міністрів закордонних справ та оборони Німеччини з пошуку додаткових систем Patriot та інших систем ППО для нашої держави.

    Дякую за допомогу в захисті нашої незалежності, європейського способу життя і наших людей від російського терору.

    Now give Taurus, more tanks, more ammo and stuff.
    Buy new stuff at Rheinmetall and other companies. Release another 100 billion for military. NOW IS THE RIGHT TIME.
    I say that as a German of course.
    Ukraine is not just fighting for their lifes. They’re also defending Europe and also Germany. Never forget that.

  3. A German is also speaking here, and I can absolutely agree with your statement. The time for negotiation attempts is now over. Putin wants war, and we couldn’t prevent it. But we can seriously spoil his war for him, and we must do that. I can only say: have fun when the Western war machine finally runs at full speed. We haven’t even started yet! Russia can, must, and will not win. Think about whether you want to live like the Russians in Russia. I absolutely do not want to, I’d rather hang myself! So the only option is to fight against Putin, just like Hitler had to be stopped once.

    So I am absolutely in favor of delivering many more weapons, but I also see that other countries should do significantly more and not just talk. Go ahead and spend my tax money, I’m fine with it as long as the Russians don’t spread their crap further westward.
