3. DeSantis and his petroleum fume huffing buddies in the Florida Legislature are so deep in the pockets of fossil fuel corporations that it will take hydraulic fracturing to get them back out. One must give them credit, though, for convincing the average MAGA-influenced voter that actions to protect the environment and the viability of life on Earth are somehow a political matter that they must oppose. They give new meaning to the term oily politician.
